Yesterday we sadly said goodbye to Bruno, John and I have been in Spain pet sitting "our" boy since October. He was very special. Rescued when he was two, after two years of pain, suffering and man's abuse, his life changed forever. For twelve wonderful, cherished years he had found his best friend, his forever home. Fourteen is a great age for a Doberman testament surely to his Mum's love and care. When he was diagnosed with cancer before Christmas we prayed we could keep him well until her return in April but sadly it wasn't to be. He was doing very well until a week ago but deteriorated very quickly and yesterday, after two very difficult days, he left us for "The Bridge"

Say hello to Holly when you meet at “The Bridge” she'll take care of you Bruno. You'll know her instantly she's the beautiful one with a teddy in her mouth and a Springer tail that wags in circles.
