Baby "Saracen" arrived at A.R.C.H. early hours of Tuesday May 27th not quite sure of the time as we humans were tucked up in bed while Dreamer (my name for this unnamed rescued mare) gave birth to this beautiful bouncing baby boy.
Dreamer was rescued along with a second pregnant mare, who I shall call Samaya, vets inspection calculated they both had at least 6 months to go before producing any offspring ... just proves how sometimes even the professional get it wrong, three weeks later enter Saracen although the vet did say he thought he was probably premature .... by about two weeks!! Most important result first time Mum and Baby doing very well after a little human intervention!
